When he was 17, Ben joined the army. While he was stationed in Oakland, Benjamin was appointed Caretaker of the building he resided in. The landlord saw how hard-working Ben was and decided to make him manager of his other buildings. This gave Mallah the platform to hone his expertise in Real Estate.
Ben then left the Army and partnered with ‘Wilton’s Marwil Investments.’ They bought their first property for $27,500. Ben would later sell the same property for $100,000 after a few renovations. He then began his own company in January 1990.
